Suzanne hosted another conversation from her own podcast series on Fierce Curiosity. She spoke with guests Pete Kinnear and Shelley Gray about what it is like for a child to be in hospital. Pete experienced such environments in Britain of the 1950s, and Shelley supported her daughter’s recent stays during the 2020s. The comparison of their experiences tells us how far we have come in terms of paying attention to children’s emotions and why we should not take those improvements for granted.
